Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Thornhill, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a 1,080-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

Construction & expansion of the existing Ada Mackenzie Park. The park expansion will primarily serve as an active-use facility and will include sports facilities, a washroom/change room pavilion, a dog off-leash area, and additional parking spaces. The construction may extend into the existing park if it enhances the use of the space and improves the placement of park elements. Existing amenities within the existing park (shade structure, playground, parking lot) must be preserved and will not be removed or relocated. Subject to change, the following elements to be included in the park: Soccer field (7v7); Fully fenced pickleball courts (6); Washroom pavilion (100 m2); Parking lot expansion; Off-Leash dog area; Associated plantings (no irrigation); Various seating opportunities; walkway connections to the existing park and neighbouring residential developments. TIMELINE: Design is being finalized. Tender for construction in Q2 2026. Updates will be made upon issuance of ITB for construction. *Owner estimated construction cost is $3 million.
