2024 Catoma WPCP Train 1 Hydraulic Improvements Site Address: 6000 Richard E Hanan Drive The Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on February 16th, at the plant site (Catoma WPCP, Conway Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36108) inside the Training Room of the Plant Maintenance Facility The Project consists of the following major components: 1. Installation of approximately 1,200 LF of 30-inch diameter Ductile Iron (DI) sewer pipe by open-cut. 2. Connection to existing 48-inch diameter process piping. 3. Installation of approximately 37,000 pounds of Ductile Iron (DI) fittings. 4. Installation of 30-inch valve. 5. Installation of Conduit 6. Asphalt replacement. The completed Work will provide Owner with a new 30-inch diameter PVC pipe connection between existing piping and process equipment. The Work will include the following approximate work items and quantities: 1. Installation of approximately 1,130 LF of 30-inch diameter PVC pressure piping. 2. Installation of approximately 70 LF of 30-inch diameter Epoxy Lined Ductile Iron pressure pipe. 3. Installation of approximately 37,000 pounds of restrained mechanical joint (MJ) and flanged epoxy lined ductile iron fittings. 4. Connection at two (2) locations of new piping to existing piping. 5. Installation of two (2) new 30-inch plug valves. 6. Asphalt and concrete gutter replacement. 7. Installation of conduits. 8. Bypass pumping as required and management of wastewater drained from process connection points. 9. Testing of new piping. 10. Site restoration. 11. Erosion and Sediment Control, ADEM BMP's, Traffic Control, surface restoration and incidental work and all permitting as required by Local, State, and Federal regulations.
