Bid Bond, or certified check pursuant to I.C. 36-1-12-4.5, payable to:Ivy Tech Community CollegeBid Security shall be in the amount of not less than five percent (10%) of the total price and delivered Bidder receiving the award shall furnish an approved one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Materials Payment Bond which cover faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Said bonds shall remain in full force and effect for twelve (12) months from the date of acceptance of the Work.The Contract to which the Owner will be a party will contain a provision prohibiting the other party to the Contract, and their subcontractors, from engaging in employment practice that constitutes a discrimination against a person because of the person's race, color, sex, religion, national origin or ancestry. Doc note: Should a successful Bidder withdraw the Bid, or fail to execute a satisfactory Contract, the Owner may then declare the Bid deposit forfeited as liquidated damages. Construction shall be in full accord with Drawings and Specifications. Procurement Documents are obtainable from the printing company listed below for a deposit of $200/set payable to the Owner, which will be refunded when documents are returned in good condition, within seven (7) days after the bid opening. There is a limit of three (3) sets per Bidder, one (1) set per subbidder and supplier, under the refundable policy. Additional sets may be purchased at non-refundable printing costs. A non-refundable fee will be added for postage when necessary. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to waive any informalities or errors in bidding for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid opening.
