Site work and paving for a civil project in Yorktown, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of demolition of existing wastewater treatment process and collection equipment, installation of new wastewater plant headworks, bar screen, clarifier components, aerator parts, sludge drying beds, sewer lift station, pumps, piping, laboratory building, access road, and sitework. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000. A certified check or bank draft payable to City of Yorktown or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Question Deadline 04/21/2025 Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the City of Yorktown or engineer The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the General Land Office (GLO) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The City of Yorktown reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Yorktown for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
