Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Brossard, Quebec. Working plans call for the construction of a 39,590-square-foot, three-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and parking garage.
Construction of a new police station in the City of Brossard of Longueuil agglomeration at 6840 Milan street. The project includes the construction of a new approximately 3,700 m2 building spread over four floors that will also house a 3-lever parking. the new facility will house several services of the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Department, including community services, operations support, the 911 back-up call centre and the police information department. TIMELINE: Working drawings are underway. According to the owner's scheduling design of the project will be completed in summer 2026, a tender for the general contractor will be issued in late summer/fall of the same year. Notes: - The firm GLT+ inc was awarded to provide the Building Information Modeling services following a contract agreement with reference information LONG-26-0094 /20134047. - Demolition of the previously used police station structure is completed and is followed in the report under CRM ID name Demolition of the Old Police Station. - The project is included in the owner's three-year capital expenditure program 2026-2028. The total amount planned for construction of this project and related site improvement and other civil engineering work is $47,050,000.
