Cedar Creek Trail, Middle Segment; New Trail Construction in Grabill Each bid proposal shall include all labor, material, tools, equipment, licenses, and services necessary to complete this project in strict accordance with the plans and specifications as prepared by the Allen County Highway Department. The following description of site conditions is derived from our site visit in association with the field investigation and our review of publicly available geologic and topographic maps. At the time of our field exploration, the site contains rough terrain and those off the road areas exhibited gradual to abruptly sloping surfaces with broken trees, branches and standing water observed at various drilled locations. The purpose of this study was to generally characterize the existing subsurface soil and groundwater conditions by drilling nineteen (19) vertical soil test borings at the subject site, perform laboratory tests on samples recovered from the borings and to provide geotechnical related recommendations for the proposed project. CONTRACT DOCUMENT QUESTIONS: If apparent errors, discrepancies, or unclear statements are found in the contract documents, the bidders shall notify in WRITING: Margaret A. Questions received less than two (2) days prior to the last addendum issued may not be answered. The work called for under these specifications shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, appurtenances and means of conveyance of all materials and/or equipment necessary for construction of the following project located in Allen County, Indiana. The work is to be completed in accordance with the INDOT 2024 Specifications, INDOT'S Supplemental Specifications and "Project Bid Specifications" and in accordance with the specifications approved by the Allen County Highway Department's Executive Director, 200 East Berry St., Suite 280, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802-2376. The true intent of these specifications is to provide the completion in every detail of the improvement described herein. The Contractor for all or any part will furnish all labor, materials and supplies, general liability insurance, and transportation as may be required under the terms of their contract to make each part complete.
