The North Schuylkill School District is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or companies for the reclamation and salvage of materials from inside/interior contents/materials of the Cardinal Brennan High School located on the North Schuylkill School District campus at 130 Academy Lane, Ashland, PA 17921. Scope of Work: The successful bidder will be responsible for: 1. Assessment: Conducting a thorough assessment of the site to identify materials that are suitable for reclamation and salvage. 2. Reclamation and Salvage: Efficiently and safely remove valuable materials, including but not limited to, wood, marble, slate, fixtures, furnishings, and any other reusable components. Any removal costs shall be borne by successful bidder and successful bidder must abide by all applicable local, state and federal laws, ordinances, statutes, rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines in removing any items. 3. Disposal and Recycling: Properly disposing of non-salvageable materials that will be disturbed and ensuring that recyclable materials are processed in accordance with local regulations. 4. Site Restoration: Ensuring that the site is left in a clean and orderly condition following the completion of the salvage operations to satisfaction of school district personnel. 5. Any successful bidder must execute an assumption of risk, waiver, discharge and release form to hold the school district harmless of any liability or damages. Proposal Requirements: Proposals must include: 1. A detailed plan outlining the approach to reclamation and salvage, including timelines methodologies and specific dollar amount. 2. Qualifications and experience of the individual or company, including any relevant licenses and certifications. 3. A list of equipment and resources that will be used. 4. References from previous projects of similar scope. 5. Purposed purchase amount for reclaimed items. 6. Proof of insurance coverage and bonding (minimum of $1million) 7. Proposal to reclaim/salvage less than 100% or only specific items, please clearly identify the items/materials specifically covered by your bid/proposal. Pre-Bid Meeting and Walk-Through: A pre-bid meeting and walk-through of the site will be held to provide interested parties with an opportunity to inspect the facility and ask questions regarding the scope of work.
