Renovation of a municipal facility in Mooresville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Description of Work: the Scope of Work Includes, but is Not Limited to, the Following: Demolition of the Multi-wythe Brick Masonry North Façade Above the Storefront Support Beams and Reconstruction of This Wall With a Brick Veneer Over Stud Framed Backup Wall Assembly to Match the Original Appearance. Existing Decorative Sheet Metal Window Head and Cornice Fabrications Will Be Salvaged, Repaired, Refinished and Reinstalled. The Existing Steel Storefront Beams Will Be Repaired, Refinished and Resecured in Place. Repairs Will Be Made to the Existing East and West Multi-wythe Exterior Masonry Walls. Bid Security: Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by an Acceptable Certified Check Made Payable to Owner or an Acceptable Bid Bond in the Amount Equal to Five (5%) Percent of the Total Bid Price Executed by an Incorporated Surety Company in Good Standing and Qualified to Do Business in the State of Indiana and Whose Name Appears on the Most Current Treasury Department Circular No. 570. Bonds: a Performance Bond and Payment Bond Each in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Contract Price Will Be Required From the Contractor to Whom the Work is Awarded. Question Deadline 01/28/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
