OCN Intermediate School Boiler Replacement Phase 2 at Ocean Township Intermediate School. Location- 1200 W Park Ave Ocean Township, NJ 07712 THE NATURE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO REMOVE THE EXISTING BOILERS AND ALL EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO IT, AND REPLACE IT WITH A NEW, MORE EFFICIENT BOILER AND SYSTEM EQUIPMENT. Sealed bids will be received for the following contract: 1.Overall Single Prime (all of the work) C. One (1) Original and (1) copy of the Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Geoffrey Hastings, Business Administrator and shall be identified on the outside of the package (outside of mailing package if mailed) with the following: Bid for OCN Intermediate School Boiler Replacement Phase 2 at the Ocean Township Intermediate School. In order to ensure the proper control of the bidder's list, and proper legal distribution of required Addenda and Clarifications, Bid Documents must be procured through the website of Solutions Architecture, located in the BidBox Tab. Contractors must register with the site to be included on the current bidder's list, so that any and all updates (addenda, clarifications, modifications) can be provided in writing in a timely manner. Bidders may purchase documents through the site using any major credit card or Paypal. 1. Questions regarding bidding should be directed to the Architect's office. Verona, NJ 07044 Following the conference, the Architect may send a written memorandum to all Bidders indicating any addenda and/or clarification items, if required. All technical questions, comments, and inquiries should be directed to Solutions Architecture; the last day for questions is November 12th, 2024, (5:30 pm EST). Bids shall be made on the Forms of Proposal provided and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. N.J.S.A. 18A:-18A-36(a). The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so and to award contracts only to those whose proposal is deemed by the Owner to be most advantageous to the interest of the public. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-6.3(a) (4), bidders must submit an executed C.271 political contribution disclosure form in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.26. O. Bidders and subcontractors identified in the bid must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, and possess a Business Registration Certificate. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, all bidders shall pre-qualify as required by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and each bid shall be accompanied by an affidavit so certifying pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18-32. All inquiries concerning prequalification should be directed to Division of Property Management and Construction, Taxation Building, 8th Floor, West State and Willow Streets, Trenton, New Jersey 08625. .Bidders shall be prequalified in Categories C033 and C047. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. concerning Public School Contracts Law. DESCRIPTION OF ALTERATIONS WORK A. Scope of demolition and removal work is shown on drawings and specified in Section 02 41 00 B. HVAC/ Boiler: Remove and replace existing boilers per the Bid Documents, existing system to stay in operation until ready for change over C. Electrical Power and Lighting: Electrical work associated with the removal and replacement of the existing boilers per the Bid Documents.. D. Fire Alarm: As noted in Bid Documents.. E. The new work generally consists of "THE NATURE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO REMOVE THE EXISTING BOILERS AND ALL EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO IT, AND REPLACE IT WITH A NEW, MORE EFFICIENT BOILER AND SYSTEM EQUIPMENT. " F. The scope of the work shall not be limited to what is specifically called out on the drawings or specifications, but shall include any and all selective demolition as well as any cutting and patching as may be required to accomplish the intended construction. THE NATURE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO REMOVE THE EXISTING BOILERS AND ALL EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO IT, AND REPLACE IT WITH A NEW, MORE EFFICIENT BOILER AND SYSTEM EQUIPMENT
