Site work for a civil project in Boone, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Replace failing steam vault located on Hill Street. Additionally, install new 8 inch water line in same vicinity. Appalachian State University is seeking design services for the Design and Construction Administration services for the following project: Replacement of a Steam Vault located on Hill Street. The scope will include construction of a new section of steam line to feed steam and condensate to and from the Convocation Center. Additionally, 300 linear feet of 8-inch water line will need to be relocated as part of the project. This project will be administered as a General Administration formal project. Additional project requirements will be given to the teams that are short listed and / or selected. This solicitation is for design services only. The total project budget including design fees and contingencies is $2,000,000.
