Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The proposed new high school is a three-story, 226,740 gsf building which will serve 1025 students in grades from 9-12. The new building will be located to the south of the existing High School with the main entrances on the ground floor and three-story classroom wings. Administration, auditorium, cafeteria, kitchen, and gym are on the ground floor and the media center and clssrooms are on the second floor and third floors. The new school is targeting Net-Zero ready construction. The project is pursuing LEED Gold. Once the new building is constructed, the existing High School building will be demolished to make way for the new athletic fields, site circulation and parking. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000 This project will require a successful Town Council vote in May 2025 and the Town Ballot in June 2025 for the full funding of the project. Construction of the new building is expected to start in the fall/winter of 2026 with 36 months anticipated to complete construction
