Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Westford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,536-square-foot water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first step of a two phase bidding process. The work consists of construction of two new PFAS water treatment plants at 3.02 MGD and 3.37 MGD for the Forge Village and Nutting Road sites, respectively. The work at both sites includes but is not limited to site work, a new 4,536 SF PFAS WTP building constructed of masonry walls, wood roof trusses, an asphalt shingle roof, and is inclusive of process piping, process equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical instrumentation, and SCADA. The Forge Village building has block veneer and the Nutting Road building has vinyl siding. The project shall be completed within 670 days of the Notice to Proceed. Construction is expected to begin in the Spring of 2025. Sub Bid Category Masonry, Miscellaneous Metals and Ornamental Iron, Roofing and Flashing, Waterproofing, Damp-proofing and Caulking, Metal Windows, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical Following prequalification, the Town of Westford will invite the prequalified respondents to submit Filed Sub-Bids for the project. The successful respondent must be able to obtain bonding for the full construction cost. The minimum DBE goals for the project are 4.2% D/MBE participation and 4.5% D/WBE participation by certified DBE firms.
