Brief Scope: Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the above-referenced project. Limits of the referenced project include sections of three (3) neighborhood streets located in southern Jefferson County in the Fairdale area; Mount Holly Road between 1012 Mount Holly Road and Charlene Drive, View Crest Drive at Mount Holly Road, and Holly Avenue between Mount Holly Road and 1097 Holly Avenue. The referenced project consists of the supply and install a total of 2,385 LF of water main, including supply and install of 40+/- linear feet of 6-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (using traditional trench installation techniques), 2,195+/- linear feet of 12-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (using traditional trench installation techniques), 80+/- linear feet of 12-inch restrained Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (using traditional trench installation techniques), 70+/- linear feet of 12-inch D.I.P.S. HDPE SDR-11 water main (using directional drill installation techniques), and the supply and installation of 30+/- linear feet of 24-inch steel casing pipe and appurtenances. Also included with the project is the supply and installation of two (2) fire hydrants, and the supply, renewal, relocation, or discontinue of 23+/- customer services. Fire hydrant removal, main cut and plugs and restoration on and along Project Limits as stated above shall be included. Contractor shall supply and install all materialsrequired for the completion of this project. Contractorshall perform all paving associated with this project. *The value for this project is based on a financial range of $500,001 - $1,000,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. HDPE SDR-11 water main along Mount Holly Road crossing Bee Lick Creek. 3. Supply and install 320+/- linear feet of restrained and non-restrained 12-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main along Holly Avenue from Mount Holly Road to 1097 Holly Avenue. 4. Supply and install 1,955+/- linear feet of restrained and non-restrained 12-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main along Mount Holly Road from 1012 Mount Holly Road to Charlene Drive. 5. Supply and install 30+/- linear feet of 24-inch steel casing pipe (open cut) under Mount Holly Road at the intersection with Holly Avenue. 6. Remove 2+/- fire hydrants. Supply and install 2+/- double pumper fire hydrants.
