Site work for a water / sewer project in Granite City, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of: Furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the various items of work for construction of improvements to Storm Water Detention Basin Pumping Stations in the city of Granite City and ancillary items related to the work as shown on the plans and as specified. The successful bidder will be required to execute and present a performance and payment bond in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the City of Granite City. All applicable laws, ordinances, and rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract. This project is subject to the availability of project funds. The City of Granite City reserves the right to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids; to reject any or all bids; and to determine which bid is the lowest and best for the improvements.
