Reference Number 0000367717 The Project consists of the removal of two (2) parellel single flight escalators and the installation of a double width metal stair, with intermediate landing, within the resulting floor opening. The current down escalator at the west side of the building must be left in place until the east is replaced with stairs. Once the stairs are in place, the west escalator can be removed. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % An e-bond payable to the City of Southfield for a sum not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the Proposal shall be required with each Proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and material, and maintenance and guarantee bonds in the amount of 100% of the project. No bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any irregularities in the proposals.
