Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a retail development in Schenectady, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a retail development; for site work for a retail development; and for asbestos abatement for a retail development.

The County of Schenectady will be accepting bids for the Sign Shop and Tire Storage Buildings Abatement and Demolition project at 100 Kellar Avenue in Schenectady, NY 12306. There will be one prime contract. Bid Security shall be submitted with each bid as described in General Instructions to Bidders. Woman and minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. Schenectady County is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. Schenectady County will make any investigation it deems necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder to perform the work. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 5% The County reserves the right to reject any bid if an investigation of the bidder fails to satisfy the county that the bidder is responsible and can carry out the obligations of the contract. Schenectady County reserves the right to waive any informality in a bid or to reject any or all bids. Should the contractor not be able to make the designated walk through, they should email purchasing@schenectadycountyny.gov for an appointment to see the space. 7.2 November 13 th , 2024, at 12:00 PM: Last Date for questionsto be submitted regarding this project. 7.2.1 Questions should be submitted to purchasing@schenectadycountyny.gov.
