The City of Healdsburg (City) is seeking bids from qualified suppliers of bulk chemicals including Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride (Salt), Sulfuric Acid, and Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite for delivery to various City facilities located in Healdsburg, California. It is the responsibility of the successful Bidder to ensure that the services are delivered to the City as per specifications and provisions listed and agreed to herein. It is the City's intent that this IFB shall result in a firm, fixed price contract for an initial term of three (3) years with the successful Bidder. Upon mutual agreement of City and Contractor, the resulting awarded contract shall allow for an annual unit price adjustment to the bid rates for inflation based on the Engineering News Record's 20-Cities Construction Cost Index in June of each year. Council Award December 16, 2024 The City of Healdsburg reserves the right to postpone the date and time for the opening of proposals at any time prior to the date and time announced in the advertisement in accordance with applicable law. The City of Healdsburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defects or irregularity in bidding in accordance with applicable law, the contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, on basis of the total base bid amount as listed in the proposal. The bidder must meet the terms of the specifications. All bids will remain valid for 90 days after the bid opening. Final questions are due January 14th with City response no later than January 21st.
