The Contractor shall not perform work or move equipment or materials across any roadway and interfere with traffic flow on the main roads or local streets between the hours of 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, unless approved by the Engineer. Equipment or materials moved on or across the roadway at other times shall be done in a manner so as minimize interference with traffic. 2. If night work is necessary to perform project work, a written request shall be submitted to Cherokee County and approved at least three days in advance. Working hours for night work are between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, unless approved by the Engineer. 3. Construction signs shall be post mounted. 4. Contractor shall use reduced speed limit signs per GDOT 150 to be included in cost for traffic control. 5. Contractorshall construct the project following Georgia Department of Transportation current standards and specifications manual, supplemental specifications, and construction standards and details. 6. All pipe shall be reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). 7. If any additional pay items not included in the contract are deemed necessary by the Engineer, then the contractor shall negotiate a price with the County for the additional pay item. Price shall be not more than 10% greater than the current GDOT item mean price for that pay item. 8. Contractor is responsible for utility coordination and ensuring that the location of all utilities is accurate to the best of their knowledge. 9. Any irrigation lines cut shall be repaired after construction activities. 10. If no pay items exist in the plans and/or contract for appurtenances associated with a parcel then the cost of removal, replacement, modification, or temporary items shall be included in grading complete. 11. Contractor is responsible for avoiding any utility lines over the construction of all culverts. 12. Water line shut down times shall be limited to 5 hours maximum between the hours of 9am to 3pm Monday Thru Friday. Contractor shall notify the City of Canton 72 hours before shutting off water service. PROJECT STIPULATIONS 1. Parcel 14N24-204 - Contractor to preserve all trees in the Temporary construction easement. If the grantor's driveway is damaged by construction, then the contractor will repair it. Contractor to coordinate driveway work with property owner. 2. Parcel 14N24-203 - Contractor to remove all trees flagged with fluorescent green flagging in said temporary construction easement area. Contractor to leave wood chips (if there are any from project) for owners use outside the construction easement. Contractor to coordinate with property owner. The owners of 219 Town Creek Drive desire the disturbance to their property by the subject public works project covered in this agreement to be time bound. In response, the County has agreed to make best efforts to complete all work impacting this property by December 31, 2025. The County will make written notice to the owners upon knowledge of expected failure to meet the completion date, but in no case shall this notice be after the original expected completion date.
