Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 16,000-square-foot educational facility; and theater / auditorium.
Plans call for the construction of a new 16,000 square foot building for theater arts. This is a 15,000 square foot, 2-story new building for UNC-Greensboro. It is located on an approx. 2 acre lot at the corner of W. Gate City Blvd and Tate Street. The scope of work includes complete site regrading, plaza, parking and sidewalks. The new 2-story building supports program space for the Arts including an immersive studio, art studios, a digital makerspace, a classroom, offices, and public spaces. The site abuts a railroad and has a railroad easement overlay that will need careful coordination for all construction activities. Addendum #2 has been issued as of December 5, 2024. **Liles Construction requests sub bids no later 2:00 PM on December 11, 2024.
