DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work for which proposals are to be received is for Exterior Grounds Maintenance Services for the Town of Plainfield including and not limited to: Seasonal Clean-up, Lawn Care, Shrub/Perennial Beds, Mulching, Litter Control, Planting Replacement, Seed/Sod Work and Snow Removal for several locations across the Town of Plainfield including Roundabouts, Medians/Right-of-way and Municipal Sites. The services as identified herein shall begin effective April 1, 2025, and extend through March 31, 2026 (total of twelve months). The Town will have the option of extending these services annually through March of 2028, (total of an additional twenty-four months) at prices stipulated within the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bid shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the Contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of the Town of Plainfield or to reject all bids. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check made payable to the Town of Plainfield or an acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to 10% of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana and whose name appears on the current Treasury Department Circular 570. BONDS: Performance Bond and Payment Bond will not be required.
