Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Princeton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 100,000-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

All requests for information during the bidding process shall go through the Office of the Judge/Executive by email at wdyoung@ky.gov and shall be in written format. Responses to RFIs can be provided up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to bid deadline. This will be a Design-Build project. The selected Design-Build Contractor (hereinafter Contractor) will furnish all design services including but not limited to Architectural, Engineering, Surveying, Geotechnical, etc. to comply with the Kentucky Building Code requirements. This building will not be finished inside or occupied upon completion of this contract and thus, a Certificate of Occupancy permit will not be obtained. However, a Certificate of Completion of this project will be required from the design team of the Contractor. All building permits for this portion of the building are required to be obtained by the Contractor. The project shall be developed on an existing BUILD-READY SITE in the Princeton/Caldwell County Industrial Park. sealed BIDS for the construction of a NEW INDUSTRIAL BUILDING on an existing build-ready site in the Princeton-Caldwell County Industrial Park. More specifically, bids shall be received for a Design-Build construction project for a pre-engineered metal building to include structure, minimal site and utility work, minimal building pad construction work as necessary to accommodate a new 100,000 sf pre-engineered structure, having nominal dimensions of approximately 250' x 400' x 30' eave height. The building will not be finished or occupied at this time. The project shall be funded in part through the Kentucky Product Development Initiative, and/or other feder- al, state and local funds. Bid selection will be based on lowest and best value as determined by the Owner. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The project will adhere to the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 3 in its implementation. No per- son shall be excluded from participation in, denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in the implementation of this pro- gram on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex. Attention is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, Title VI, E.O. 11246, the Anti Kickback Act and Section 504 requirements.
