Work also. includes plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning, and electrical work. Site work includes storm sewer and concrete paving. Prevailing wages in accordance with Effingham County is required. Bid security is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract for the work awarded to them.
