Reference Number 0000281806 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/11/29 03:00:00 PM CST This Contract is for scaffolding and insulating services to Queen Elizabeth Power Station and Cory Cogeneration Power Station. Some of the maintenance and construction activities at Queen Elizabeth Power Station (QEPS) and Cory Cogeneration Station require temporary scaffolding installations. The Work will include the supply of labour, material and equipment to erect and dismantle temporary scaffolding installations as required at the Site ("Scaffolding Services"). The Contractor will be required to erect most of the installation by using an aluminum tube and wedge type clamp type scaffolding system. The number of manhours required for scaffolding installations varies from year to year and is a function of the type and quantity of maintenance that occurs during the year. In a typical year, 10,000 to 12,000-man hours are required for the erection and dismantling of scaffolding installations for QEPS, and Cory Cogeneration Station. The removal and installation of various types/sizes of insulation will also be required during many of the maintenance activities at Queen Elizabeth Power Station and Cory Cogeneration Station Power Station. The Work will include the supply of labour, material and equipment, for required insulating projects ("Insulating Services"). The number of manhours required for insulation services will vary year to year and is a function of the type and quantity of maintenance that occurs during the year. A typical year will require 1500 to 2000-man hours to complete various insulating activities.
