Pursuant to the provisions of Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, Subchapter F, it is the intention of the Spring Independent School District (the District or Owner) to select a Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR) via a two-step Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process, for the construction of the District's Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee Family and Community Engagement Center Renovations. Persons or entities submitting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) and, if qualified, Price Proposals (collectively Proposals or Offers) are referred to herein as Offeror(s). The five-year bond project kicked off immediately and work across the district is projected to continue through 2027. 9 Spring Independent School District (also referred to as "SISD" or "District") intends to select a General Contractor to serve as Construction Manager-at-Risk to construct, manage, and implement the Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee Family and Community Engagement Center Renovation Project as authorized by the Spring Independent School District. The District will enter into a single agreement with the successful Contractor. The scope of the project shall consist, but not be limited to, the following: o Parking Lot and Exterior Lighting o Pool Renovations o Interior and Exterior Renovations- Including flooring, painting, security vestibule, and siding.
