Site work and paving for a road / highway in Conway, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of January 9, 2025 project was awarded to General Maintenance Contractors of JCI Construction, Inc., awarded amount is $1,007,016.50. The work includes all labor, material, and equipment required to perform the work as described in the project plans and specifications. Work is expected to start in early February 2025, a notice to proceed will be issued at that time. Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier’s or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five per cent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to City of Conway, Arkansas, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten(10) days after notice of award of Contract to him The successful Bidder must furnish a performance bond and a separate payment bond upon the forms provided herein in the amount of one hundred percent(100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner The notice of award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within thirty (30)days following the opening of bids
