As of May 1, 2025, a design/build firm has been awarded and this project is in the pre-construction/negotiated status. Construction is expected to start mid May 2025. Design/Build firm information has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Jacob Konecny at konecnj@bgsu.edu. with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please). Bowling Green State University requests interested firms submit qualifications for Design-Build (DB) services for the Kreischer Chilled Water Line project. The project will include design and construction services necessary for an approximately 460 linear feet extension of buried chilled water piping to connect the Kreischer Quadrangle Residence Hall to BGSU's centralized chilled water system to support the current colling needs of the Kreischer Sundial and accommodate the future plans to renovated Krescher Hall to be fully air conditioned. Construction is anticipated to begin Spring 2025 and be substantially complete by August 2025.
