Project Rebid Bid No. C-245-360 - Project Ag72 For a More Detailed Discussion on Contract Time, Trade Contractor Must Refer to the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Trade Contractor Scope of Work and General Requirements Regarding Milestones and Liquidated Damages. B License If the License Classification Specified Herein is That of a Specialty Contractor, the Specialty Contractor Awarded the Contract for This Work Shall Itself Perform a Majority of the Work. This Project Shall Be Completed Within One Hundred (100) Consecutive Calendar Days From the Date Stated in the Notice of Award. Failure to Complete the Work Within the Specified Time Will Result in the Imposition of Liquidated Damages for Each Day of Delay as Specified in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder May Withdraw Any Bid for a Period of Ninety 90 Calendar Days After the Date Set for the Opening of Bids. Separate Payment and Performance Bonds, Each in an Amount Equal to 100% of the Total Contract Amount, Are Required, and Shall Be Provided to the District Prior to Execution of the Contract and Shall Be in the Form Set Forth in the Contract Documents. The District Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Irregularities or Informalities in Any Bids or in the Bidding. The Lowest Bid Shall Be the Lowest Bid Price on the Base Contract Without Consideration of the Prices on the Additive or Deductive Items. **note: Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 20103.8, the Selection Process Selected Does Not Preclude the District From Using Any of the Additive or Deductive Alternates From the Contract After the Lowest Responsible Responsive Bidder Has Been Determined. 1. RELOCATION OF (1)-24'x40' REFURBISHED RELOCATABLE BUILDING (P1) (STOCKPILE), DSA-APPROVED PC#55943 2. RELOCATION OF (1) RAMP FROM STOCKPILE (A#04-120272) Work Included: The work to be performed by the Contractor shall conform to the requirements of all of Division 1 as well as the General Conditions, Special Conditions, Specifications, all sheets in Drawings and other related documents, and includes the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, plan and services necessary therefore and incidental thereto to complete the project. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1.2.1.1 Provide all scope of work shown on the plans and specifications, to include all earth & site works - cutting/saw-cutting & demolition required for finish site work, concrete paving, trenching & backfill for new utilities or re-routing of existing utilities, demolition of existing site items. Once the portable buildings are installed and anchored to the foundation system there are work to be installed to the interior of the modular, i.e., data/communication/fire alarm wiring and devices as shown on the drawings. All work shown on the electrical, plumbing, civil drawings and all work as shown on all documents, addenda, and as described in all specification's sections. 1.2.1.2 Review all as-builts, site survey plot plans, and contact all agencies and the Project Manager prior to excavation to ensure that all utility services will not be disrupted. 1.2.1.3 Provide all necessary shoring, barricades, caution tape, and trench plates for open excavations to maintain safety requirements and as necessary to meet building and safety codes that are required in the General Conditions. 1.2.1.4 Continuous housekeeping and daily clean up is mandatory. The Contractor shall provide a separate debris box onsite and shall put all debris in debris box and/or remove debris from site at the Contractor's own expense prior to the end of the work day or as directed by the District's Project Manager. All debris boxes and containers shall be kept free of graffiti at all times. If the Contractor fails to perform daily clean up, the District's Project Manager shall order that clean up be done at the Contractor's expense. The contractor shall provide daily off-site clean up of all mud, dirt, dust and debris from the construction work. 1.2.1.5 Punch list, final clean up, and closeout per contract construction schedule. Parties agree that delays to punch list, final clean up, and closeout would constitute a delay in project completion and, therefore, entitles the District to withhold and retain potential liquidated damages per the Contract Documents from the Contractor's progress payments Question Deadline 07/18/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to the District Questions received less than SEVEN (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening Bids may not be answered
