Renovation of a power facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
JEA is seeking services to design, furnish, and install one (1) pre-engineered rigid frame metal building on a concrete slab with interior partitions and specified building systems at the Northside Generating Station (NGS), located in Jacksonville, Florida to accommodate Material Handling and By Products personnel. The building will be approximately 75 feet wide x 80 feet long with locker rooms, restrooms, showers, laundry rooms, managers offices, crew lead offices, open areas for meals and breaks, conference room, computer lab, and kitchen. The building will be a pre-engineered steel framed structure with its own HVAC system, Fire sprinkler system, and dedicated entrances through mud rooms to aid in housekeeping. Additional pre bid meeting note: Pre-Bid Meeting will begin at 11AM within the EPPM 10-Wide Conference Room. A site walk of the project will immediately follow the meeting. Visitors should come equipped with hard hat, safety shoes/boots, and safety glasses. These will be required for the site walk. Photos of the project area are acceptable during the site walk. All attendees shall be always escorted by JEA personnel while at NGS.
