Renovation of a municipal facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As part of major upcoming projects at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, ADM needs to relocate administrative offices and employee areas to temporary facilities. The chosen solution will provide space for 1,300 employees, including around 500 during peak periods. The new building will have to include all the amenities that need to be available to workers, such as a cafeteria, rest areas, bathrooms, showers, office space, meeting and training rooms, etc. According to preliminary estimates, a surface area of around 3,000 square metres would be required, which could be divided into a maximum two-storey building. The temporary facilities must be capable of being used on a continuous basis for a minimum of 3 years. For the purposes of delivery, installation and finishing, the zoning of the building will be changed to a non-regulated zoning in order not to interfere with ongoing flight operations and to minimise operational constraints. ADM will be responsible for carrying out the civil engineering work on the site and ensuring the availability of services.
