This project was awarded to Qro Mex Construction Co., Inc Construction of approximately 12,900 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron pipeline, air release/vacuum valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, approximately 600 linear feet of jacking, boring, or tunneling, surface restoration including pavement replacement, and all other associated appurtenances as included in the Contract Documents for the Blanco Rd. to Orsinger Ln. Pressure Zone 1111 24-Inch Water Main Project. The project will involve design and construction of a new approximately 15,200 linear foot (LF) water main in San Antonio, Texas. It is anticipated that the new water main will improve transmission efficiency of Pressure Zone (PZ) 1111, and between the Bitters Booster Station and the proposed De Zavala elevated tank. The new water main will generally be installed using the open cut method; however, the trenchless method will be used at roadway and creek crossings.
