The City of Lubbock is requesting proposals from interested firms and individuals to provide annual inspection and repair service for hydraulic accumulators used at the Lake Alan Henry pump station and the Post booster station.. Question Deadline 11/21/2024 at 2:00 PM CT SCOPE OF WORK A. Lake Alan Henry Intake Structure 1.Contractor shall refurbish seven (7) leaking hydraulic cylinders at Lake Alan Henry Intake Tower. Contractor shall provide all parts, equipment, labor, materials and supplies necessary for complete refurbishing of the hydraulic cylinders. 2.The Work of the project shall include the following major components: a. Draining and properly disposing of at least 95% of the hydraulic fluids. b. Removal and reinstallation of hydraulic cylinders. c. Replacement of seal kits, proximity switches, and hydraulic hoses d. Recharging the hydraulic system with biodegradable hydraulic fluids. e. Start-up procedures and operational testing. 3. The work shall be completed within 50 calendar days from date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
