wireless network infrastructure upgrade across the Braswell, Main, and Tyson campus buildings at our Monroe campuses, located at 4209 Old Charlotte Hwy. (Braswell & Main), and 3509 Old Charlotte Hwy. (Tyson Family Center for Technology), Monroe NC. This upgrade will enhance network performance, streamline management, and improve network security. The selected vendor will deploy Cisco Meraki access points, establish a Layer 3 boundary at the Braswell building, and implement new UPS systems to ensure uninterrupted network operation. The State reserves the right to make partial, progressive or multiple awards: where it is advantageous to award separately by items; or where more than one supplier is needed to provide the contemplated specifications as to quantity, quality, delivery, service, geographical areas; and where other factors are deemed to be necessary or proper to the purchase in question. BACKGROUND SPCC seeks a vendor to replace outdated access points, configure a Layer 3 network boundary at the Braswell building, and deploy network UPS systems in 4 network closets for enhanced reliability. This transition will shift SPCC's wireless network infrastructure to a Cisco Meraki solution, leveraging cloud management for improved scalability and control. The Braswell, Main, and Tyson buildings house a mix of administrative, academic, and student service functions. This upgrade will support enhanced wireless connectivity for SPCC's student body, faculty, and administrative staff, preparing these facilities for future technology advancements.
