Renovation of an educational facility in Sunbury, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of the Big Walnut Local School District as provided in this notice for the Backup Generator at General Rosecrans Elementary School Project. The Project is the Big Walnut Local Schools - Backup Generator at General Rosecrans Elementary School Project ("the Project"). The Project consists of the work indicated by the Contract Documents, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Design Professional. The Project is anticipated to include the addition of a new generator and alteration of existing electrical system items at General Rosecrans Elementary School. The total estimated construction cost for the base bid is $400,000.00 Questions may be directed to Kevin Rinderle, Garmann Miller & Associates, Inc., at krinderle@creategm.com. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. Hand deliveries to the Owner at this location are preferred. Hand deliveries may be made during the Owner's standard operating hours and must be made before the deadline. Respondents are responsible for confirming current operating hours. A public bid opening will take place immediately after the time for submitting bids is expired. The Owner shall not be held liable if a bidder is unable to attend due to technical or other issues or obstructions. Question Deadline 12/03/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Bidders shall submit written questions to Kevin Rinderle, at krinderle@creategm.com to allow sufficient time for the Design Professional to respond. All Addenda will be issued, except as hereafter provided, and e-mailed or otherwise furnished to persons who have obtained Contract Documents for the Project, at least seventy two (72) hours prior to the published time for the opening of bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. The Owner reserves the right to waive any and all irregularities provided that the defects and irregularities do not affect the amount of the bid in any material respect or otherwise give the Bidder a competitive advantage. The Owner reserves the right to reject any, part of any, or all bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities. The Bidder expressly acknowledges this right of the Owner to reject any or all bids or to reject any incomplete or irregular bid. Bidders must furnish all information requested on or accompanying the Bid Form. Any false representations or failure to provide information may result in disqualification of the bid. The Project and Work for the Project consists of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for construction of the Project, all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Design Professional. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of its Work on the Project, as defined in the General Conditions, on or before August 8, 2025 ("Date of Substantial Completion"). The Contractor shall achieve Final Completion of its Work on the Project, as defined in the General Conditions, within 30 calendar days of the Date of Substantial Completion ("Date of Final Completion")
