The City of Council Bluffs, Iowa (City), is requesting quotes for janitorial services at the River's Edge Pavilion from qualified and insured companies, herein called Bidder/Supplier/Contractor. All necessary personnel, supervision, materials and equipment to be provided by the Bidder and prices included in the bid should reflect the same. For the purpose of this bid, the following documents MUST be submitted: Bid Bond (if three year total is greater than $40,000) All pertinent information outlined in Ion Wave References This is an all or nothing bid and will be awarded to one Bidder. The bid will be awarded based off of the total for Package #1. The Recreation and Events Manager shall administer this contract on behalf of the City and will be responsible for ensuring Contract compliance. CONTRACT TERM - The contract will be in effect upon contract execution through December 31, 2025. If it is mutually agreeable, this contract can be extended for three (3), one (1) year periods. Prices are to remain firm for one year. Prices for April 1st through October 31st will be consistent/firm and the lower invoice total for November 1st through March 30th will be consistent/firm. After the initial year, any cost increase request must be accompanied by justification documentation from the manufacturer of a price increase and is subject to approval or denial by the City. Prices are to remain firm throughout each contract extension period. BID BOND - In accordance with City ordinance, each bid in excess of $40,000 must be accompanied by cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Council Bluffs, Iowa, for a sum not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. Copies of bid bonds or cashier's checks are to be uploaded in the assigned requested attachments area. Cashier's check shall clearly state cashier's check on it. Letters of credit and company or personal checks are not acceptable substitutes for a bid bond and would be cause for rejection of bid. **Please double check your math to make sure your 5% bid bond amount is accurate. Inaccurate amounts will be cause for rejection of bid.
