The project contemplated seeks to replace the west entrance and exit gates of Building 299A at Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility ("JIWRF") located at 700 East Jones Street, Milwaukee, WI 53207. The current gates are used daily by authorized personnel, provide security to the facility, and ensure only authorized personnel are able to enter the facility. Age along with wear and tear and exposure to the elements has caused the gates to experience corrosion. This Contract shall entail the replacement of the aforementioned gates by the selected contractor with the selected contractor undertaking the following work: Removal of the two gates, removal of one fence section, removal of one gate operator, removal of two yokes, and removal of 13 bollard sleeves located at the employee entrance; Disposal of all of the removed items; Supplying and installing new gates, new fence section, new operating systems, new yokes, and new bollard sleeves to replace those removed.
