Renovation of a municipal facility in Norway, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Norway Municipal Building Renovations. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted by December 6th. Responses to RFIs will be provided by December 11th. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check, made out to the Town of Norway. After the Contract is awarded and before work commences, the successful bidder must furnish: 1. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. 2. Certificate of Insurance The Town of Norway will have sixty (60) calendar days within which to accept or reject any bid. The project completion date is 10 months to substantial, 12 months to completion after the contract begins. Liquidated damages in the amount of $200.00 per day are contained in the Contract. The Town of Norway reserves the right to adjust the quantities and/or items contained in the Bid Form as needed in order to stay within the project budget. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any hid which is deemed to be in the best interest of Town of Norway. 1. Project includes renovation of existing building and the construction of a garage addition and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
