The project consists of mass grading for a 12-acre site located on the north side of State Route 69 and east of Heather Heights on Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe land. The mass grading for future development includes clearing & grubbing, site grading, erosion control, controlled blasting activities, and drainage improvements. The project includes importing/hauling engineered fill material from an adjacent borrow site located southeast of the State Route 69 and Heather Heights signaled intersection with additional engineered fill from other locations as needed. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid price and made payable to the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe. Such Check or Bid Bond will be given as a guarantee that Bidder will enter a Contract, if awarded, and will provide a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond; and shall be declared forfeited as Liquidated Damages if the successful Bidder refuses to enter the said Contract after being requested to do so by the Tribal Board of the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe. Such Check or Bid Bond will be returned to the respective unsuccessful Bidders upon award of the Contract and to the successful Bidder on execution and delivery of a satisfactory Surety Company Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract Price. The Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding, and to withhold the award for any reason that the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe determines to be in their best interests. Native-owned, minority, woman-owned, and disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit bids.
