Site work for a water / sewer project in Arthurdale, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of approximately 9,000 LF of 8'' PVC Waterline with 17 gate valves, 11 fire hydrants, 2 air release valve assemblies, and all necessary repairs and appurtenances for a complete and working system. This work will also include the construction of a new 350 gpm prefabricated booster pump station, 2 master meter vaults, and all necessary site prep work. The Work will be substantially completed within 300 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 330 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Preston County Public Service District #1 in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid.
