A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Middlebury (the Town) and the Middlebury Skatepark Project (MSP) issue this Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSOQ) for skatepark design services. This RFSOQ is being issued for an individual skatepark design project. There will be one submission process and one interview panel to select a design consultant for this project. This project is an approximately 7,500 total square feet cast-in-place and shotcrete concrete skatepark facility, designated for beginner, intermediate and/or expert levels, and for a variety of wheels including skateboards, scooters, BMX, WCMX, roller skates and inline skates. Location: Middlebury Recreation Park 294 Buttolph Dr, Middlebury, VT 05753 The Consultant (Skatepark Designer) shall provide professional design services, schematic design, and construction document preparation for the skatepark, within the identified budget and timeline. The Consultant shall prepare design and construction documents so that the skatepark can be constructed in two phases, with the first phase being approximately 5,000 square feet and the second phase approximately 2,500 square feet. The Consultant shall work in collaboration with the Town and MSP on the project.
