The project scope includes the new construction of 3,000 apartment units on 80 acres at the site of the former Flushing Airport bounded by 20th Avenue to the north, Linden Place to the east and west of Whitestone Expressway. NYCEDC plans to select one or more qualified parties for all or part of the Site on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to, financial feasibility, program and design, the qualified party's qualifications and experience, economic impact of the proposal, and responsiveness to the project goals stated in the RFP.
