Anticipated Award Date: 04/14/2025 The Program of Requirements ("POR") will be provided as part of this project by the Criteria Architect/Engineer ("Criteria A/E"). The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) through the Division of Parks and Watercraft is responsible for the management of 75 state parks, including Salt Fork State Park in Guernsey County. Salt Fork State Park is at the crossroads of Interstate Routes 70 and 77, about 90 miles east of Columbus, OH and 100 miles west of Pittsburgh, PA. This is the largest of Ohio's 75 State Parks with 17,229-land acres. The park also features a 2,952-acre lake with unlimited horsepower, making it a popular destination for recreational boaters and anglers. Amenities include two marinas with seasonal dock rentals, eight launch ramps, three boater-swim areas, a 400-foot-long boater's beach, as well as a 2,500-foot-long public beach. A star attraction is the park's large campground with 215 campsites, ranging from fullhookups that accommodate RVs of all sizes to "primitive" tent-only sites. The park also offers a horseman's camp with 24 campsites and 70-plus miles of bridle trails.
