Site work and paving for a road / highway in Drexel Heights, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The West Valencia Road Widening project is the replacement and widening of an existing two and three lane section of Valencia Rd with an all-weather six-lane divided roadway for approximately 1.4 miles between Mission Road and Camino de la Tierra. The project elements include, but are not limited to, roadway development, earthwork, drainage, traffic control, lighting/signals, and landscaping. This work will be completed by an engineering professional team alongside a construction manager at risk (CMAR) contractor. The County has selected Psomas, Inc as the design professional for this project. This work is funded partially by U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Discretionary Grant. Pima County is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide design/plan phase assistance, and complete construction services as the CMAR for West Valencia Road Improvements: Mission Road to Camino de la Tierra (4VALMR) project, located in Tucson, Arizona This project is funded partially by the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Discretionary Grant funds for which Pima County is a Recipient. Pima County reserves the right to reject any and all qualification statements or withhold the award for any reason.
