Brasfield & Gorrie is accepting prequalification documentation from trade contractors for the Wake Tech New Health Science Building and Parking Deck for Bid Packages. This project is located on Wake Tech's Perry Health Sciences Campus in Raleigh, NC. It consists of a 106,000 SF, 3 story simulation hospital, 4 story precast parking deck and a backfill renovation of an existing space in an adjacent building. The building is a structural steel frame with masonry, composite panels, curtainwall, and punched openings on the exterior. Interior spaces include simulated patient care spaces such as patient rooms, operating rooms, training suites, and MRI/CT rooms. Spaces also include classrooms and computer labs. Brasfield & Gorrie has an aspirational goal of 20% of the total contract amount to be performed by MWBE/HUB businesses. All bids shall satisfy requirements of NCGS 143-128.2. Prequalification and Bidding for this project will be advertised on the eVP system. However, only those bidders that have been prequalified shall be eligible to bid. Any bid submitted by a bidder that was not prequalified shall be rejected as being nonresponsive. Completed prequalification packages must be on the provided form. The completed form shall be sealed in an opaque envelope addressed to Brasfield & Gorrie with the requested documentation sealed in a separate opaque envelope marked "Confidential" and placed into the envelope with the prequalification package. The envelope must be marked to indicate the project name, the company's name, and bid package. Any financial statements provided will be shredded after the evaluations have been completed.
