Renovation of a mixed-use development in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and library.
The colleges goal with this RFP is to give students a seamless experience in the newly renovated library by adding wayfinding and directional signage, as well as signage identifying important functions and areas within the building. Del Mar College hasrecently renovated the William F. Library, a five story building of just under 100,000 square feet located on the Heritage campus at 101 Baldwin Blvd., Corpus Christi TX. The library was built in 1969 as a two story structure and was later expanded to five stories in 1979. Throughout the history of the college, the library has served as the academic center of the campus, providing students with a place to study, work on coursework, and relax between classes. The renovation of the building updates the library to a 21st century library by adding additional collaborative areas, cutting edge technology, and integrated student service areas.
