Wilcox County Board of Commissioners along with the Wilcox County EMA will receive bids, until the date and time set for the bid opening, at the Commissioner's Office 103 North Broad Street. Abbeville GA. 31001. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope containing the following information on the outside, front, lower left corner of the envelope: SEALED BID: Building Generators. Failure to include such information may result in the bid opened prematurely and/or declared disqualified. Specs for the generators are within the request for proposal along with other requirements as well. Two meetings are schedule for a walk through that will show the locates along with nearest electrical sources. Only one meeting is needed for a greater understanding over the project. Work includes the installation of each generator, concrete pad, shipping, wiring facilities transfer switches and other electrical needs for operating the generators on the three facilities.
