Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by North Carolina State University and will receive and publicly open sealed proposals from prequalified bidders for the construction of Phase 3 of the University Towers project in Raleigh, NC. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Phase 3 of the ongoing University Towers Renovations project on NC State University's campus, which will consist of miscellaneous repairs to the existing parking deck. These parking deck repairs will serve to correct deficiencies in the existing deck structure, code and ADA improvements, and will bring lighting, telecom and striping up to current university standards. This phase is planned to begin in the Autumn of 2024 and will be completed by Summer of 2025. Principal trade contractors are being solicited for the following bid packages: BP0300 Structural Repairs (Concrete) | $1,500,000.00 BP0400 Masonry | $250,000.00 BP0550 Metals (Misc. Steel / Stairs & Rails) | $600,000.00 BP0742 Metal Wall Panels & Rainscreens | $700,000.00 BP0781 Spray Fireproofing | $30,000.00 Additional packages may be added and deleted by the Owner and Construction Manager.
