The Work is a project located in rural Rollete County and includes but is not limited to the installation of rural water mains and the construction of a booster pump station. The water main installation includes clearing and grubbing, trenching, horizontal directional drilling, valves, curb stops, service line connections, flush hydrants, and connections to existing water mains. There are four distribution lines located in three areas. The North Zone has two distribution lines. The first run parallel to North Dakota Highway 3, starting at the intersection of Highway 3 and 108th Street NE and ending at the International Peace Gardens. The second runs parallel to 108th Street for approximately one and a half miles then turns North along Violet Avenue until Peony Street NE, then runs parallel to Peony Street for approximately three quarters of a mile there terminating. The Middle Zone has a distribution line that runs along North Dakota Highway 43 for approximately 2.5 miles, which starts at the intersection of North Dakota Highway 3 and North Dakota Highway 43. There are three laterals of approximately 1800 feet each. The South Zone has a distribution line, which follows 104th Street NE for approximately 2.5 miles. There are two laterals totaling two miles of additional pipe. The booster pump station (BPS) is located along 36th Ave NE, approximately one tenth of a mile North of the intersection of 36th Ave NE and County Road 43 in Rollete County. The construction of the BPS includes the construction of a structure, connections to existing water mains, site grading, installation of all internal components within the structure.
