Quotes Due: 12:00 am PST on 25 November 2024 via email to xuejiao.sun@usace.army.mil 6. Anticipated Period of Performance: Between ten (10) to thirty (30) days of awarded date 4.1. Base Bid Item 0001 - Emergency Generator Repair 4.1.1. Contractor shall repair the generator per industry standard and manufacturer's recommendations to resolve the generator issues noted in Section 2 and restore full functionality of the unit. In addition to industry standards and manufacturer's recommendations, the rebuild shall at a minimum include the following: Tear down, clean and inspect generator engine components Replace the head gasket Replace all impacted seals, gaskets, O-rings, manifolds, and bolts with new Replace needed hoses and fittings with new Perform flush of engine oil system and replace the oil Perform flush of coolant system and replace coolant Replace air, oil, and fuel filters Replace engine cover plate Replace water pump and subsequent components Replace fuel injectors and service subsequent fuel system components Resurface the cylinder head and engine block mating surfaces Replace belts for water pump and cooling fan 4.1.2. After completion of work Contractor shall run the generator for 48 hours. Any deficiencies observed shall be corrected. If deficiencies are observed on components/systems not replaced/serviced as part of the rebuild, the contractor will not be responsible for the cost of correcting those deficiencies. 4.2. Base Bid Item 0002 - Site Safety Plan 4.2.1. Contractor shall generate an Activity Hazard Analysis meeting the requirements of EM 385-1-1. The AHA must be reviewed and approved by the Government prior to any work being started. All work shall be performed in accordance to the approved AHA. An Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) shall be prepared by the contractor performing the work. The AHA shall define the steps performed within the activity, and identify the work sequences, specific anticipated hazards, site conditions, equipment, materials, personnel, and the control measures to be implemented. The names of the qualified person(s) required for a particular activity shall be identified and included in the AHA, as well as proof of their competency/qualification.
