Renovation of a multi-residential development in Hazlehurst, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
2024 Renovation of 2 Units at HUD Project. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid; the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the date set for the opening thereof, and each bidder must comply with the laws of the State of Mississippi and all local laws relative to the performance of said work. The work will be in one Prime Contract. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements of this Invitation for Bids. The Hazlehurst Housing Authority, Hazlehurst, Mississippi reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Question Deadline 12/10/2024 Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation ofthe solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. Requests may be oral or written. SITEWORK 1. Repair all areas of the site damaged during construction including but not limited to ruts, concrete, etc. UNIT 35: 1. Demo/Remove designated components of unit including but not limited to flooring, walls, sub-floor, floor framing, all electrical components, mechanical components, etc... as required for complete renovation of unit. 2. Construct new wall and floor framing, stud/gypsum walls, new subfloor etc... as shown on plan. 3. Install new interior and exterior doors including new hardware. 4. Install new 5/8" gyp board ceiling in all rooms. 5. Install new flooring in entire unit. 6. Install new base and crown moulding throughout entire unit. 7. Install new attic insulation and wall insulation (all exterior walls and unit separation wall). 8. Install new attic access hatch where designated. 9. Paint interior of entire unit including but not limited to ceiling, walls, doors and trim, etc. 10. Install new base and wall cabinets, vanity in bathroom, and closet shelving and rods in all closets. 11. Install new hvac system. 12. Install new plumbing piping, fixtures, fittings, faucets, etc. 13. Install new electrical panel, all new wiring, devices, boxes, switches, etc. 14. Install new light fixtures. 15. Install new brick at designated areas of exterior walls (match existing). 16. Install new siding at designated areas of exterior walls. 17. Install new aluminum windows and security screens. 18. Install new attic smoke walls. 19. Demo/remove base and wall cabinets and plumbing fixtures/fittings in kitchen. 20. Install new plumbing fixtures, fittings, faucets, splash, venthood etc.... in kitchen. UNIT 34: 1. Demo/Remove designated areas of ceiling as required for construction of new smoke separation wall between Units 34 and 35. 2. Demo/Remove base and wall cabinets and plumbing fixtures/fittings in kitchen. 3. Install new base and wall cabinets in kitchen. 4. Install new 5/8" gyp board ceiling in area where gyp board was removed (match existing finish). 5. Paint interior of entire unit including but not limited to ceiling, walls, doors and trim etc. 6. Install new plumbing fixtures, fittings, faucets, splash, venthood etc ... in kitchen.
