Renovation of a stadium in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
As of December 17, 2024 project was awarded to B.G. Brecke, Inc., awarded amount is $92,369.38. The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for the purchase and installation of a 45-ton chiller unit at the Veterans Memorial Stadium. Contractor shall remove and replace the existing chiller with a new Carrier Chiller (Model# 3DGTN45- 620PK, Serial # V4601F24273), or equivalent, at the Veteran's Memorial Stadium, 950 Rockford Rd SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Field verification of unit, specs, connected systems are the responsibility of the Contractor. Verification of needs for changes to piping required to be completed by Contractor prior to bid submission. Cost for changes to piping shall be included in bid price. Work shall be completed before February 28, 2025, prior to the baseball team's arrival in March. Questions Deadline: 11/19/2024 10:00 AM (CT) The initial term of the Contract shall commence on the date the City executes the Contract and shall end on February 28, 2025. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Bids will be evaluated promptly after opening.
